Hey hey! So I’ve got a quick review today and it’s for the Sephora Collection Honey Lip Scrub. At the point of my purchase, my lips were chapped all the time, I was using lip balm and drinking a lot of water and nothing seemed to work. This was an impulse purchase and at $10 it is the cheapest lip scrub at Sephora so I thought eh why not, it’s worth a shot.

Sephora shares that the lip scrub softens and preps lips for a treatment or lipstick thanks to a gentle sugar exfoliant. I picked the honey exfoliant and it smells (and tastes) really good. I do think $10 is pushing it but it’s not like a lip balm that you re-apply a lot so it’s not that bad. And with that said,
yes a little goes a long way so you don’t need to over-apply and over scrub your lips.
When I first used the honey lip scrub I was a little shook because it is very scrubby and sugary. It’s quite intense and it feels like you are just scrubbing at your lips with sugar but when you’re done you can feel the smoothness on your lips. It tastes sweet which doesn’t really help me, a fanatic for sugar, because I tend to purse my lips together and lick my lips so this becomes like a snack almost (LOL). It does kind of collect and flake on your lips so I use my finger to distribute the product. Although it feels very intense it does leave my lips soft after and this lip scrub has now become a part of my night time routine. I also apply the scrub throughout the day when I get bored or when I feel that my lips could be a little smoother. Overall, I will not repurchase the lip scrub but I like this product and although the scrubbing feels harsh it does leave my lips feeling very smooth.

Honestly, I was feeling lazy and I knew I could make a sugar scrub at home but didn't want to. So if your lips are dry, just mix some honey and sugar and there ya go!
Until next time…scrub the crust off your lips hunny 😂
