vegan | no added sugar | ready in 15min!
Hey hey! So the truth is...I have the biggest sweet tooth. When it comes to eating sweets the LIMIT DOES NOT EXIST for me. I’ve always loved sweets and that doesn’t really help me because let’s be real, sugar (refined) isn’t exactly the healthiest thing to consume.
I went on Pinterest to look at some recipes because I was bored and hungry and I came across this recipe from Served From Scratch on Chocolate Crunch Bars. This 5-ingredient recipe has been my go to and I’ve made it 2 times in the span of 4 days because not only do I love it but my family just ate it up the first time I made it.
This’ll be a quick recipe blog and I’d recommend you read the full blog on the Served From Scratch site since this is not my recipe but I wanted to share it because I’m OBSESSED with it.
INGREDIENTS YOU NEED:
1/2 cup of cocoa powder
1/2 cup of coconut oil
5 tablespoons of pure maple syrup
1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract
1 cup of rice cereal
pinch of salt
HOW I MADE IT
Melt coconut oil in a small saucepan on low heat, once melted add the cacao powder, maple syrup, vanilla, and pinch of salt, and mix well.
Add the rice cereal to a bowl and pour the chocolate mixture. Make sure to mix well so that the rice cereal is covered in the chocolate.
Tip: if you add more rice cereal to make more of the dessert, then add ~2 tbsp of milk to your mixture. The rice cereal absorbs it and it helps you mix it easier and afterwards it tastes really good too. I tried this the 2nd time I made this and added oat milk and WOW it tasted good.
Line a pan or plastic container with parchment paper and pour the rice cereal chocolate mixture.
Place in the freezer for 15 minutes until completely set.
Lift parchment paper out of the pan and separate the bar from paper. Cut into bars and enjoy!
Keep in the freezer so chocolate stays set.

Please let me know if you make this my DMs on my personal account and on my food blog are always open! Oh and with that said 😏 follow my food blog on Instagram for more food porn, both homemade and from restaurants!
Until next time...stay sweet 😉🍫
